Metal Steel Buildings Are Here To Stay
In this day and age where bigger, faster, and stronger is better it is not at all surprising to find that there are more and more metal steel buildings being constructed. Over the holidays, my family and I decided to stay over at a friend’s condo in the heart of the city to get a chance to go around and see the sights. Living in a rural area where farms abound, it was not common for us to see skyscrapers standing so close to one another.
What surprised me the most was the number of constructions going on in one small area. While it was a commercial and business district where multinational companies had offices, it was still surprising to see that metal steel buildings in various stages of completion. We were there for just a little over two weeks and the building constructions were going on round the clock. I did not realize how quick it was to build a steel building!
Compared to one made of other materials, steel metal buildings took about half the time to finish. I found out why: they come in mostly pre fabricated, pre punched and ready for the next phase of construction. It was also easier to customize these kinds of buildings in terms of insulation and interior design. No wonder they are now considered king of the construction sites.
